52,000 entrepreneurs attend Bpifrance Inno Generation

Bpifrance tells TXF about the 5th edition of Bpifrance Inno Generation took place on 10 October, 2019 in Paris.

Bpifrance hosted the 5th edition of Bpifrance Inno Generation, on 10 October at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris – the largest business gathering in Europe. Over 52,000 participants attended the event, including exporters, entrepreneurs, investors and governmental institutions some of whom travelled from Taiwan, Canada, Japan, Poland, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Brazil, Tunisia and Singapore among many other countries.

Sessions focused on topics about international expansion, entrepreneurship and innovation. International development was at the heart of the event with an area specifically dedicated to doing business globally. Africa, North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East were each represented with separate platforms, and all hosted conferences about expansion strategies, best practices, local cultures, business and partnership opportunities. 

The day also consisted of numerous other networking opportunities, conferences, one to one business meetings, talks from business leaders, artists and explorers – with even workshops on buses that toured to the Eiffel Tower and back while enabling discussion on the challenges of tomorrow’s world. 

The vibrancy of the occasion was noted by Emmanuel Macron, President of France who exclaimed in his closing speech: “We are a country of inventors, entrepreneurs. Never give up! Don’t be afraid! We’ll be there to support you” as he summed up in a just a few words the energy and optimism at the event. 

Nicolas Dufourcq, Bpifrance’s Executive Director expressed a strong sense of support, addressing the audience in his speech saying: “Entrepreneurs, you are free, you dare to take risks, you are not afraid of the unknown. You are at the heart of the society.” Encouraging words for bold movement and action that the event inspired.
