China Exim lights Egypt's path from fiscal deficit

This year Egypt has made significant cuts to fuel and electricity subsidies in a bid to make up the government's $10 billion fiscal deficit. China Exim’s recent $757 million loan to finance the construction of new electricity lines across the country should alleviate some pressure.
