TXF launches the 2017-2018 Exporters’ and Importers’ surveys

Content Development Manager
The 2017-2018 surveys of exporters and importers are now open. Take part today to ensure you have your say about the performance of export finance market service providers.

TXF is pleased to announce that we are embarking on our market-leading independent annual surveys of Exporters and Importers. This important exercise for the industry provides vital independent analysis of sentiment about export finance market service providers from both sides of trade transactions.

This year’s surveys are now open:

Complete the Exporters’ survey
Complete the Importers’ survey

As a thank you for taking part in the survey, we will provide you with early access to the key findings, once the results are in!

The full survey results will be available at the end of 2017. If you would like to be kept up-to-date, or would like to receive a copy of the report, please contact oliver.oconnell@txfmedia.com.

Each year we work hard to improve the survey process, keeping the methodology transparent, encouraging more responses, and getting into the detail of ‘why’ on key issues, and ratings of service providers - banks and export credit agencies. Responses are both qualitative and quantitative in nature, and cover categories that include: flexibility, understanding of business, risk appetite, capacity, and more.

For the 2017-2018 surveys our approach has evolved to include an online portal for survey responses to improve operational efficiency by gathering key data from respondents ahead of the telephone interview portion of the survey. Both the online and telephone elements of the survey are carried out by Clevis Research, our independent research partner.

In previous years, our surveys have focussed on reporting about current market activity. For this year’s edition, we are undertaking a deeper dive into appraising providers in the market by specific criteria.

We encourage all exporters and importers/borrowers to take part in this vital barometer of performance and sentiment towards service providers in the export finance market.
