innogy completes €2bn independent credit line

German renewable energy company innogy, that was split off from its parent company RWE in 2016, has signed a stand-alone credit line with an international consortium consisting of 22 banks making it financially independent from RWE. The initial term of five years has two renewal options, with access to an additional €1 billion and replaces innogy's participation in RWE's facilities.
