UK-based alternative lending platform Funding Circle has reportedly chosen the banks to help it go public. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Numis Corp will reportedly help the group, which facilitates loans for small business borrowers across the US, UK, Germany and the Netherlands, in its initial public offering in the UK. It could be the largest IPO by a UK fintech, with sources noting the company’s valuation could be as high as $2.77 billion.
