China Exim wades into shipping with $18bn mega deal for Coscocs

Earlier this month, Chinese container shipping conglomerate Coscocs signed an $18 billion financing agreement with China Exim to fund the construction of more than 50 ships as well as overseas investments and mergers. The deal is the largest ECA supported loan to have ever been completed, according to market sources.
