The JBIC/NEXI deal for Gulf of Suez Wind IPP (Ras Ghareb) – a rare ECA-backed deal in an Egyptian renewables market fuelled by DFI debt – is both reasonably priced and over a long tenor. Good news for EETC as it prepares to launch a competitive tender for 500MW of wind capacity.
