Deutsche Telecom and EWE approved for FTTH venture

Deutsche Telekom and energy supplier EWE have formally launched their Glasfaser Nordwest JV after satisfying regulators that it will not distort market competition. The JV plans to roll out fibre to 1.5 million premises in the north west of Germany, backed by a €2 billion ($2.2 billion)...
