Coronavirus and global trade TXF podcast series: In viro veritas?

Region:
Europe

In the first episode of TXF's "In viro veritas?" podcast series, Katharine Morton says the new coronavirus, Covid-19, is shining a light on just how connected global trade is to the world’s second largest economy. She takes a look at how China will officially support its trade and asks whether global ECAs need to be taking note. ‘Think Global, Act Local’ may be apt for world trade and the response to the disease.

TXF has also decided to make each story we post about the coronavirus outbreak across the trade, commodity and export finance space free-to-view for all readers. The need to raise awareness and knowledge around how borrowers, lenders and regulators respond to the crisis at the macro level is paramount to preparing for any such such issues facing market players at the micro level.
