Japan has become the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) importer as it diversifies away from nuclear power. A recent deal between Japanese export credit agency (ECA) JBIC and Diamond LNG Shipping (DLS) highlights the country's increased financing and support of US LNG projects.
