Banks refocus structures for commodity finance amid regulation overload

An industry survey at TXF's Geneva commodity conference has pointed to suggestions that banks are refocusing how they approach commodity finance structures due to the increased regulatory pressures. A number of other factors have led to this realignment, but there is some optimism that things can be improved through greater transparency from borrowers in the future.
