Following a year which saw a failed coup attempt and changes to the political and economic landscape in Turkey, questions have been raised about the risk associated with financing in the country. A recent loan facility for Garanti Bank saw increased pricing this year amid an ongoing slump in participation within syndicated loans in the country.
