TXF wants to hear from banks, brokers, insurers, traders and producers to comprise our annual commodities research report - a prevalent deep dive report into the ever-changing commodity trade finance industry

TXF is delighted to announce that the research phase of The Global Commodity Finance Industry Report 2023 is underway.

We want to hear from banks, brokers, insurers, traders, and producers to gage market outlook within the commodity trade finance industry, looking at appetite, sentiment, headwinds, and resiliencies.

Additionally, the survey features individual sectorial sections across metals and mining, agri and softs, and energy, a separate bank, insurer, broker, and corporate deep dive segments, and some analysis on the popularity of various liquidity sources and deal structures. The report will also touch on ongoing supply chain disruptions, inflation, the push for sustainability and wider ESG agendas, and much more.

Corporates (traders and producers) have the opportunity to rank their lending banks across various categories from ‘industry expertise’ to ‘efficient and effective deal execution’. The results of this will then provide banks with a score between 1-5 for each category, which they will be able to compare to the highest and lowest average score across these categories.

In order to produce the most useful bank data, we urge banks to send the survey over to their corporate clients to fill out.

This is your chance to have your say. Take the survey here

The survey, which is confidential and anonymous, should take no more than 5 minutes, depending on respondent type.

The survey has been designed specifically for banks, brokers, insurers, traders and producers with each of these organisational types responding only to questions that are relevant to them.

All of the data will be collected and analysed in the final Global Commodity Trade Finance Industry Report 2023, which aims to classify and measure market sentiment across all players in the commodity finance space.

If you have any questions about the survey, please feel free to get in touch directly with Marko Micovic, research executive at Exile Group, marko.micovic@txfmedia.com
