TXF Amsterdam 2024 – Save the date!

Editor-in-chief
TXF will be hosting the 10th Anniversary of its Global Commodity Finance Conference in Amsterdam on 22-23 May 2024, at the Grand Krasnapolsky Hotel, with our black-tie Industry Awards Dinner on the 21st.

As many of you know, we formed TXF back in 2013, but we didn’t host our first Global Commodity event until May 2014. We held it at the old grain exchange building - the Beurs van Berlage - which was a fitting and unique place to reflect on the current state of the commodity finance sector.

During the very first edition of this event, we targeted themes such as liquidity, distribution, risk mitigation, regulation and sustainability, to name a few.

Together, we have witnessed the ups and downs of the commodities industry over the last decade, with the last few years having been particularly volatile. But this is a special industry, not just because of its resilience, but also because of its dynamism to adapt to market and global circumstances.

While some sections of the conference for 2024 are constants, we will also be closely examining changes and challenges that the industry now faces going forward.

Specific themes will focus on: sustainability and ESG; commodity traceability; securing and financing critical minerals; the role of mining in the energy transition; financing new energies; decarbonisation through the commodity supply chain; the goal of net-zero; meeting the challenges in the global agri-supply chain; improved financial structures and security; the crucial and expanded role of global traders; increased ECA/DFI involvement; the role of non-bank financiers; supply chain management and developing new flows amid heightened geopolitical and conflict scenarios.

You can view the agenda with the latest speakers here.

Above all we will try to dissect the most relevant parts of these themes to help enable global commodity business to be transacted more efficiently and profitably.

So, please join us in Amsterdam on 22-23 May 2024 for a very special Ten Year Anniversary Edition of TXF Global Commodity Finance. Secure your Super Early Bird rate here (saving €1000).

This two-day event is built to deliver new deal-origination opportunities, connect you to new business partners and provide meaningful insights including, including mainstage discussions, innovative presentations, and unique networking opportunities throughout the day, from small-group discussions over shared areas of interest to the meeting hub for impromptu conversations and private meetings.
