Japan set to loan Jakarta port project $2.5bn

Japan has agreed in principle to provide a $2.49 billion private loan to finance the development of Indonesia's planned new deep-sea port project in Jakarta. Japanese companies would be expected to play a major role in the project if the loan is agreed.
