Kazakhstan announces 1GW renewable energy auctions

The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced a schedule for auctioning 1GW of capacity in 2018. The auctions will be held in May/June and October for a total of 290MW of solar, 620MW of wind, 15MW of biomass and 75MW of hydroelectric generation.
