Mainstream achieves close on South African wind farms

A consortium led by independent wind and solar power developer Mainstream Renewable Power has reached financial close for the Kangnas and Perdekraal East Wind Farms in South Africa. The $520 million projects were awarded as part of the REIPPP programme and have a combined capacity of 250MW.
