KfW to help cover Silicor's $1bn move to Iceland plant

German development bank KfW has agreed to cover about 65% of US-based Silicor Materials' project to build a $1 billion plant in Iceland to produce solar-grade silicon. The company will use equipment from Germany's SMS Siemag.
