India Exim agrees $1.6bn loan for Bangladesh thermal project

The Export-Import Bank of India (India Exim) has agreed a $1.6 billion loan to the Bangladesh India Friendship Power Company to finance a 1,320MW ultra-super-critical Maitree Super Thermal Power Project in Bagerhat District.
