EGFI pivotal in $2.5bn Iraqi power station project

The Export Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI) played a pivotal role in Rumaila, a natural gas combined cycle power plant to be implemented at a cost of $2.5 billion by the Iranian MAPNA Group in Basra, Iraq. EGFI provided MAPNA with a $300 million PRI policy.
