Wapda mulls $500m bond float with World Bank partial guarantee

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) is looking to raise $2.4 billion towards the $4.3 billion Dasu hydro project. The World Bank is to provide International Development Assistance of $588 million and a credit guarantee of $460 million for the foreign commercial borrowings.
