Lower Saxony to lease government rooftops for solar

German energy supplier Enercity will install rooftop solar systems on state buildings around Hanover as part of a cooperation with the state of Lower Saxony. An evaluation of 226,000m2 of roofs on state-owned buildings will be undertaken over the next 5 years to identify suitable sites....
