BNDES opens BRL100m public tender for carbon credits

BNDES has opened a public tender to purchase up to BRL100 million ($19.74 million) in carbon credits. The bank has said further investment rounds could raise the volume of investments to BRL300 million over the next three years. BNDES hopes its move will kickstart the carbon credit market in Brazil...
