Egypt 'agrees to buy up to 160 LNG cargoes through 2026'

Egypt has reached agreements with several energy firms and trading houses to buy between 150-160 cargoes of LNG to cover power demand from now until the end of 2026, industry sources said.The gas purchases, costing over $8 billion based on current prices, will add more pressure on government coffers...
