Trade finance boosts income for Kenya's Equity Group

Kenya's Equity Group Holdings saw income from its non-lending business, which includes trade finance, increase 20% year-on-year in the first half. Overall pre-tax profit however dropped 6.6%, with Equity blaming the decline on the government's cap on interest rates.
