Japan to launch facility to support $550bn investment under US trade deal

Japan will establish an investment facility to support a $550 billion investment package agreed in a tariff deal with the United States. The agreement will target investments in semiconductors, metals, pharmaceuticals, energy, and shipbuilding, with activity to be completed by January 2029....
