Nippon Steel pens ECA-supported $5.6bn loan for US Steel takeover

Nippon Steel has signed a JPY900 billion (about $5.66 billion) financing to help fund share acquisition needs linked to its $14.9 billion US Steel takeover. JBIC contributed a $3.7 billion loan, with cofinancing from MUFG, SMBC, Mizuho, and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank taking the total to JPY900...
