Flexport to add trade finance to its offering

US-based freight forwarder Flexport has raised $110 million and will use the cash to expand into trade finance, helped by new backer Wells Fargo Strategic Capital. It plans to help clients fund purchases on the same platform that it now uses for freight brokerage.
