Four wind projects awarded in Kazakhstan auction

Kazakhstan's energy ministry has awarded four wind projects totalling 250MW of capacity in its second tranche of auctions this year. The lowest price came from local utility Zhel Elektricik with a bid of KZT17,390 per MWh ($46.62/MWh) for 100MW of capacity. Three further 50MW projects...
